  • 4-way stretch with moisture management and temperature regulation
  • Anti-odour / anti-wrinkle
  • Reinforced collar, cuffs and button placket for a “crisp” look.
  • Double fabric reinforced shoulder yolk
  • Button down semi-spread collar
  • Back darts for tapered fit

      By wrapping a nylon core yarn with the best merino wool available, we were able to achieve a greater strength-to-weight ratio while offering the softest, lightest and most durable merino fabric on the market.

      While our wool is sourced from only the best vendors in New Zealand, we chose to build our products by hand right here in Canada.  Local production allows us to ensure the quality on every piece we make, and also provides for smaller production runs.  This means we can support our local communities, keep our carbon footprint lower,  minimize waste and focus on continually evolving the product mix.

      BEHIND THE FIRCREST

      This shirt is inspired by my great-grandparents acreage on crescent beach in BC, called Fircrest. They  lived on a rustic property which served as the family social hub. With salt in the air and the mist from the ocean, everyone was welcome and neighbours would regularly drop by for a swim or a gin and tonic. Dress code was classically stylish and always in effect with men lounging by the pool , or standing nearby in suspenders and bowties, and the women relaxing in bathing suits, sun dresses and hats.
